The Royal Arms began its life in the 1850's as the Royal Hotel. It is now home to the Walker family and accommodates a small number of guests in beautifully appointed bedrooms.

Nimmitabel is a small town steeped in history. Explore the town on foot, cycle along the surrounding quiet country roads, or enjoy the Snowy River, snowfields and nearby Kosciuszko and Wadbilliga National Parks.

Step out the front door and you'll find yourself on a signposted walk through Nimmitabel's history. Cafe, bakery and pub are all close at hand.

Coaches (the modern kind) stop at our doorstep, to connect you with Cooma/Canberra/Sydney, Bega/ NSW South Coast and to Victoria, Gippsland / Melbourne.

By private vehicle, the Snowfields and Alpine access are an hour away. The Bega Valley coastal hinterland is even closer.
